Nursing Assistant ProgramOctober 2002- PVCC is certified by the Arizona State Board of Nursing to offer a Nursing Assistant Program which began this fall in conjunction with Paradise Valley Hospital.

PAWS the PumaFebruary 2003- Paradise Valley Community College names their Puma mascot: "PAWS" by a vote of students, faculty and staff.

Shoenhair Soccer FieldDedication of the Cindy Shoenhair Soccer Field, October 13, 2004. Cindy was a PVCC Fitness and Health faculty member who passed away in October 2001.

Time to GrowCitizens pass $951 million bond program. PVCC receives $72 million dollars for new construction, remodeling and the expansion of PVCC North.

HLC AccreditationHigher Learning Commission awards PVCC another 10-year accreditation, March 2, 2005.

Black MountainPVCC North Black Mountain offers courses in the Carefree/Cave Creek area.

CPA OpeningCenter for the Performing Arts Opening, October 13, 2005. The new state of the art facility includes theater space with and orchestra pit, seating for up to 300 patrons, as well as an art gallery space in the lobby and music classrooms.

Paramedic GraduationFirst EMT Graduation ceremony is held for 24 Paramedics. 11-17-06

L BuildingRibbon Cutting and Open House is held for the new L Building, January 12, 2007. The 4,500 square foot modular building will house offices, support spaces and skills labs for Nursing, Fire Science/EMT and Athletics programs as well as the Facility Services office.
